Students and members of the teaching staff of the University of Western Macedonia’s Department of Economics participated in a short-term Erasmus mobility programme (Blended Intensive Program, BIP) held at the University of Applied Sciences in Dresden, Germany, on the suggestion of Assistant Professor Melina Dritsaki, the Erasmus academic coordinator.
Thirty-five students from five European Universities participated in the programme, which is implemented under the scientific supervision of Prof. Dr. Jan Endrikat. The programme’s subject is “Market Analysis of Sustainable Business Concepts” and students had the opportunity to attend lectures from professors and entrepreneurs and collaborate in mixed groups to create and present the research results of their market analysis for sustainable business models research. The mobility action concluded with an online meeting, during which the title of the best team was awarded.
Four 4th year students from the Department of Economics of the University of Western Macedonia, participated in the programme, as well as the Assistant Professors of the Department, Melina Dritsaki and Stavroula Laspita, who delivered lectures and collaborated with the groups.
The Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are financed by the Erasmus+ programme and aim to further promote the scientific cooperation of the participating Universities. In this context, cooperation agreements were signed with the participating universities for future collaborations.
