Library & Information Center
The mission of the Library & Information Centre of the University of Western Macedonia entails the strengthening and support of UoWM’ s educational and research activities, the contribution to the management, provision, and distribution of specialized information to the wider national and international community and the involvement in educational and cultural activities.
The Library Directorate caters for the administration, supervision and coordination of its Departments, strategic planning, financial management, personnel management (evaluation, allocation to Departments, assignment of duties), drafting policies (loaning and inter-loaning services, repositories management, restocking of the library collection via “Eudoxus”, etc.), establishing standards for all its functions, implementing the Internal Regulation regarding the Operation of the Library & Information Centre of the University of Western Macedonia, gathering statistical data, ensuring the quality of services provided through academic library evaluation indicators.
